Dave is a letter carrier, pilot, coach and labor
leader.. A local legend as a City League softball player,
Bergevin's prodigious home runs helped the Green Lantern
Tavern team dominate Walla Walla's slow-pitch softball
league in the 1980's. An award winning employee of the United States Postal Service. Bergevin has been recognized repeatedly for outstanding service to his co-workers. A graduate of Walla Walla High School and Washington State University, Bergevin's success as the chief financial officer for his union has helped stabilize his organization during the terms of four consecutive branch presidents. |
In June of 2000, the Frank McClenny Branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers voted Bergevin their national delegate to organization's convention in Chicago, Illinois. As partial reward for years of service, his fellow employees will help underwrite a visit to Chicago by the entire Bergevin family.
